Colline Moreniche

The name Colline Moreniche (in English: moraine hills) denotes the gentle hills of the southern Lake Garda, the hinterland of Sirmione, Peschiera and Desenzano del Garda, which is known both for its excellent wine, as well as for having been the scene of some of the most important chapters in Italian history. The territory of Morenic hills includes the villages of Castiglione delle Stiviere, Medole, Guidizzolo, Cavriana, Solferino, Goito, Marmiolo, Volta Mantovana, Monzambano e Ponti sul Mincio.
