Peace and simplicity at the foot of Monte Baldo

Brenzone consists of 16 small villages and hamlets at the foot of Monte Baldo. They all have their charm and originality: narrow, often steep streets, historic houses, olive groves and they are incredibly peaceful.

Some villages are located near the water, have a picturesque harbor, beautiful promenades and boardwalks. they are known for their fish specialties, which are among the delicacies of the region.

The other villages are located in the untouched nature and offer panoramic lake views. The way there is often extremely steep, narrow, winding and really worth seeing.

Every place in Brenzone is an excellent starting point for excursions on the Monte Baldo, which makes this municipality very popular among hikers, bikers and nature lovers. Beautiful hotels and campsites offer visitors a lot of accommodations.

Trips
Brenzone offers many exciting excursions.

Monday: the program today is an easy three hour walk from Magugnano to Marniga via Campo, Tormentaie, Venzo and Boccino. Here the tourists can enjoy the magic of nature, the vastness of the landscape and magnificent views of partially unmarked paths.

Tuesdays: a medium difficult walk will take you from Castello to Zignago, Cà Perotti, Sant'Antonio delle Pontare and back. The motto of the hike: discover wild flowers and wild herbs, with a visit to a historic furnace.

Wednesday: round trip with a two-master of Assenza and Castelletto around the island Trimelone.

Thursday is Nordic Walking day - the new trend sport of this romantic place. Daniela Trentini and her colleagues will accompany you from 09:30 from 2 1/2 hours from Castelletto to Biaza direction Campo and then down to Magugnano, from where you will walk along the lake back to Castelletto. Nordic walking poles are included. Moreover, many accommodations in Brenzone have all the Nordic Walking material you could need.

Friday: visit of the church of San Nicola in Assenza. Then you will go by car takes to the Roman Villa, to the medieval frescoes in the church of S. Zeno de l'Oselet, then you will walk to the S. Antonio Church in Biaza and last to the folklore Museum in Castelletto.
